Ekaterina Kupalova assists clients with matters involving financial regulation, commercial law, and economic-legal analysis, drawing on experience in both the public and private sectors of the Swiss financial industry. With a strong academic foundation in law and economics and a specialization in financial markets, she brings analytical precision and a multidisciplinary perspective to her work.
Prior to joining SKANDAMIS AVOCATS, Ekaterina gained practical experience at the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), where she worked in the Unauthorised Activities department within the Enforcement division. She also served as Junior Legal Counsel at a Geneva-based wealth management company specializing in private equity for ultra-high-net-worth clients. Her background allows her to support the firm's partners and lawyers in regulatory, commercial, and cross-border matters requiring rigorous analysis and strategic insight.
